FACTS - MAXLIGHT OUTPERFORMS ENERGY STAR
a- Energy star is an American scheme and the logo is a registered trade mark for USEPA and can only be used for the products that have been certified.
b- The usage of the energy star logo for skylights products was developed for USA climate and the qualification criteria are showed in the following table:
c- SolarBright Maxlight ML models are Energy Rated as they have been tested by a leading global laboratory.
d- The U-factor & SHGC values of all our models of Maxlight do meet & outperform all above qualification criteria set by the Energy star scheme, however SolarBright has not applied for the energy star program in USA.
e- In our opinion this scheme is not relevant to Australia’s market and associating its logo with skylight products by any supplier outside USA is silly and meaningless.
f- Below is a comparative table showing our Maxlight energy rating performance against Energy star criteria’s.
(Lower the value means better performance / SolarBright outperforms energy star criteria)
