Can the Expansion Pack operate on its own without a Powerwall 3?
No. The Expansion Pack is not a standalone battery and is designed to operate only when connected to a Tesla Powerwall 3.

Will I need to upgrade my inverter to add an Expansion Pack?
No inverter upgrade is needed. The Expansion Pack connects directly to your existing Powerwall 3 system and uses the integrated inverter. No additional inverter hardware is required.

Is the Expansion Pack compatible with Powerwall 2 or other battery systems?
No. The Expansion Pack is only compatible with Tesla Powerwall 3. It does not work with Powerwall 2 or any third-party battery systems.

How is the Expansion Pack monitored and managed?
Monitoring is done through the Tesla app which displays the combined system performance. You will see the total capacity and energy flow are updated in real-time.
