With the Envirosun TS (thermosyphon system) solar hot water system both the two solar collector panels and and the tank are an integrated unit mounted on the roof.
The hot water storage tanks sits on the roof above the collectors. As water is heated in the collectors it rises naturally up into the cooler tank -this is the thermosyphon process. In the Envirosun TS systems the hot water flows into the middle of the tank displacing the cooler water in the bottom of the tank which then flows down into the collectors to be heated.
At the heart of the system is the 300 litre extremely durable stainless steel tank. This is engineered for years of trouble free service using type 444 stainless steel. The tanks are warranted for 7 years.
